I’m going to see how they look and then get the bases sprayed more than likely! We’ve got a family friend who removes dents and his paintwork is amazing so I’m sure he will sort it for me rather than me making a mess!
 
Great read this all, picked up our Z3 3.0 summer toy to be honest and is good shape, apart from 2 trolly dings and drivers wing mirror rust to underside starting to bubble. Driver seat bolster due a feed and treatment but great drive. So this kit looks like one of the first to get stuck into.

BMW did mine (inc. painted) for £250... Read a lot about this kit, maybe turns out the same level of hassle just to get BMW to do it (I think its a pretty similar kit judging by the new way it moves - not that you can tell by looking). Might have been offset by the cost of service but seems like a decent fix and mine had actually broken by this point.
