Not really looked at them, the beam bushes have one thick coller and one thin, I assume the thick one goes at the bottom, are the arm bushes the same.
Just looked at the above pic and the arm bushes are the same @Antm72

Coming along nicely mate, I dont think I have the washers in my kit, mine is also red, Im also not sure which way to put them in as one end has a thicker shoulder then the other.
They look the same as the ones you get with the diff bush kit, not sure on their purpose, i assume if they are correct to this kit then they go on the side with the seperate end, to keep it on? might have to message them.

So do you think the beam bushes should go in like they are in the built up pic, or the way they are stood in the earlier pic of the kit stood on the floor?

SOOOO, very busy few month. Wedding and all.
But this weekend is my first free weekend (apart from the world cup) where I've had a chance to do anything with the car.

I've cleaned up a load of rust from the inner sills, just need to get into the hard to reach corners then paint those.

My uncle has been round and measured to get some new sheet metal to reinforce the boot floor and diff mount. I'm going to speak to bmw see if I can get a new diff mount.

I've stripped the washer jets and headlight washers as they weren't working.

I've removed all the shocks, took them back to metal and I'm going to paint them yellow.

I've fixed some wiring in the boot loom.

I've ordered a front strut brace. Going to check the quality then speak to the seller to make me a rear one.

Gave the car a good clean in all those places that would never usually get cleaned.

Away all week again with work then the weekend is our UK wedding party so another weekend doing nothing on car. Weekend after we have a other wedding to go to....
Busy times. As soon as the welding and reinforcement is done it's full steam ahead to reassemble. Hope it comes quick.

Balls I should have bought yellow paint instead of splashing out on bilsteins!! =))

Did you just leave the car on axles outside during your wedding abroad? :D I always get worried for some odd reason when the car is left on just the stands outside, even if it is just overnight!!

I would be less concerned if it was on stands mate, it can't be wheeled away.

Anyone have any advice on replacing anything else while it's in this state?
I've done all rear bushes apart from ARB mount rubbers.
I'm going to order front ARB drop links.
I was thinking of doing control arm bushes but I couldn't even loosen the bolts.
@Sean d ?

Oh and @spurs fan in a coupe do you have a good diff mount?

While your there I would change the ARB rubbers may as well than do it later. As for your difficultly with undoing some bolts. Is that with using a breaker bar? You could try penetration oil and some heat but to be honest if you can afford one, or hire beg borrow a impact driver it will make life a lot easier. Sorry to I have not bought one yet.

ARB droplinks are easy peasy
Front ARB bush (poly) has transformed my car! and is a piece of cake
Control arm bushes are big buggers and tight. Have you got yourself a breaker bar?

A neighbour actually has an impact driver it cost him a small fortune but I've used it before with great success so I'll ask for that again!

I've just went for black as I don't really have any colour in my engine bay. Easy to sell on too if I need to.
Have you ordered one yet?
Did you do front and rear ARB poly bushes? I will definately look into those then.
