I realigned the front bumper today whilst at the zed shed, it was pushed back a little.

Shame on photobucket for b******** up my threads!

Sat next to @Nodzed 's latest purchase....

I also changed the front left abs sensor a couple of months back which sorted the issue!

On Sunday I finally tackled the suspension after two years.

The KWV3 coilovers were set hard, which meant that the car was skipping over ruts in the road. In fact it was so bad that sometimes it felt like the wheels were leaving the road and crashing down.

The KWV3 are bump adjusted on the bottom and rebound on the top. Of course that meant I had to get to the top mounts. The roadsters have it so easy!

Just a few bits of trim to remove

Weirdly the KWs weren't clicking on the adjustment so I had to count the number of turns available to work out where the stock settings were

Duly adjusted and the car feels so much better now, much more planted and comfortable. I feel so much more confident in pushing the car that little bit harder. Love it!

A couple of updates

The wheels were a lovely colour after a refurb but corroded

So I tool them in for a refurb in prep for Silverstone classic

Although the corrosion was gone, the owner of the refurb place was very honest and said he wasn't happy with the finish. So he allowed me to take them away without paying. They're now back in for a respray

I also located a carbon airbox

As it doesn't have wheels I haven't been able to run it yet but I'm so excited!

Have you had a Alpha N remap as well to disable the MAF?

Which refurb place was that? Worth a mention with honesty like that deserves more business his way.
It's Alloy Stars in Aylesbury

Not yet, I'm going to see how it runs first on the default map, then will likely go to Evolve
