Is your dimmer working ok
It appears to be - I can see the whole display dimming and brightening but it seems to have little effect on the numbers - I'll post a pic

I tried mine tonight and the mileage dims along with the rest of the dash.

Is there a way of brightening up the mileage and odometer read out - can hardly read mine?
Thanks
It probably just needs the bulbs renewing, as they age they grow darker, it's an easy enough job to remove the clocks and change the bulbs.

Tony.

Well the sun is out and it's the perfect day for zedding, my summer wheels are back on and the hardtop is off. But all I can do is sit and stare at the poor zed as I can't drive at the moment :( Had to have an operation last Thursday and they told me not to drive for a week or so, or at least until I feel confident to do so, meaning I can't get out in the zed. I'm well enough to give it a wash though I think in the week whilst I'll be off work for a bit

Me too, it's been the worse 16 months of my life I have practically lived at the hospital. Still have time to do stuff on the zed though, it's one of the things I enjoy and it keeps me going. Most of the time it's great for a bit of stress relief.

Done a couple of jobs today, changed the blue Z3 silhouette decals on my ///M gills for some burgundy ones to match the roof and interior touches. I also wrapped one gill with some clear carbon fibre vinyl wrap and they looked pretty good, but they are not quite perfect and with it being clear vinyl you can see every little imperfection, so off it came. Undecided whether to redo them yet. I'm in the process of de-chroming and will be using some plastidip on the chrome slats of the gills. I've done the boot badges and boot pull in satin black and will be taking off the chrome door handles soon, but these might get colour coded. I quite like silver cars with some subtle black touches and also wheels so I may even go down this route.

Added a little decal to the speedo, originally used a burgundy one to match the rest but didn't stand out that well against the black. This fills the big blank on the speedo much like the ///M Roadster / Coupe decal does in the ///M's.

Hopefully it will get the full cleaning treatment at the end of the week ready for the Cotswold cruise :coolsteer)

Good you're well enough to do some bits to keep you sane Dave, like the decal on the Tacho, neat touch.

Nice touches - and I particularly like the clarity in the instrument cluster.

Looking at the price for the whole car i'd say. Wheels £100, sports seats £100, roll hoops £50, hard top and fitting kit £25!! Am I close? :D

No sports seats, just standard leather and no hardtop or fitting kit either. Pretty standard spec and not really a lot you would want from it. The wheels are AC Schnitzers, probably worth half the price he wanted for the car but it wasn't them I got off it
