Didn’t spend all day as planned… Had to go out and see some people about some gigs. ( no really …. Honest !!!!)
But did sort the new connectors underneath
And yes …. I forgot to put the connector on the second one before I started the flare. So cut it off and did it again..
Then it was the two rear lines…..not easy working upside down and on your back… but got the first one in ,, and after a few swear words got the other to more or less follow in parallel.
I havent done the flares yet as leaving it overnight to check the others dont leak.( removed the broom that had been depressing the brake pedal for about a year !!!!! ( as per @t-tony)
So far so good.
May finish the connections tomorrow… but My welder is coming round to hopefully sort out the rest of the rusty bits….. So I will continue to clean the diff with a dremel prior to it being sprayed with silver hammerite.
small steps….. but in the right direction….
….but even though they are about 100 miles away .. in my head, I can still hear Gaz and Lee taking the pi** .
