I believe someone else had a pic of RamAir earlier

This is my Ramair on my E85 Z4 3.0i. On this car you can mount it directly at the point of the original air filter intake through the front panel.

Tony.

I can vouch for the lovely noise it makes.
When Tony was behind me on an up hill section of dual carriage way, we were giving it some welly and I could hear it in my zed.
sounds good from the drivers seat as well .

It does, and even better in real time.

did that shield come with it Paul
No mate, piece of aluminium donated by T-Tony. Made a pattern out of cardboard cut the aluminium to pattern drilled a big hole for the induction pipe and fastened to the existing air box bracket and inner wing. Finished off with a £2 piece of trim from E Bay.

It was quite easy really, just as well my fabrication skills are very basic.

Also painted one side black to help with the cooling

looks great. Isaw Sean was fabbing up a box but I didn't see if he got it done.

I started making a heat shield but still need to make a lid for it.

Bear in mind that both Paul's and mine are Z4s and that they're fairly different under the bonnet from a Z3.
