ZedShed(Midlands).

Bring your sprayer, . . . and a tent

Tony.

No Lazy Boy sprayer here mate, couple of six inch brushes is all that’s needed. What’s the tent for.?????

the sprayer and tent is Tony's new sideline..

a nice all-over tan,
that is, if you like being a healthy-looking 'medium-oak' shade..
It does last 5 years though...

Also, looks like you're getting ready for a fence/shed painting session with 14 tubs ...

Apparently the Z4 only needs 7 tubs for total coverage, unless he's doing the wheels as well and protecting the underside 🤔

Great work in the Midlands zed shed Tony, and very considerate of you accommodate my unphesably lanky frame so I won't have to keep stooping down :scorecard: .
If I'm there same time as @Rha I'll have to give him a leg up so he can see that part of your handy work =)).

Great idea Steve.=)) Timber for making the ramps is ordered and being collected by said other lanky git tomorrow. He's fitting new doors at the house round the corner for the new owner, Paul. Soon be ordering the lift.

Tony.

More prep ready for the lift. Gary couldn't get me the timber here today as he is working for a Moto GP mechanic and he leaves in a month so has to get work finished for him, he has Izzy this weekend and so he'll come over on Sunday.
Anyway, finished the wheel chocks for the ends of the ramps, had to cut them down a little so they will pas under my front bumper.

Also got the couplers made for fixing the run ups to the main ramps.

One completed and one to finish. Hoping to make good progress on finishing the ramps next week. Then get a Type "C" breaker added and order the lift.

Tony.

Yep, enjoying doing this type of work mate.

Tony.

Looking great Tony, you'll be running out of stuff to do shortly. Fingers crossed we'll all be able to meet up sooner than later;)

Wood delivered after lunch so I conscripted Gary to help me cut the 8x4 sheet into strips, more manageable with two people.

4 of the 3x2 cut 10' ready for tomorrow.

Tony.

By the way I measured the distance between the outer sidewalls of the rear tyres at 72". I'm making the ramps at 11.5" wide and my winter tyres are 9" wide and my summer ones are 10" so the ramps are fine. I also measured the tyres on the Eos, and guess what?, its also 72". The ramps, including 19mm of particle board raise the car by 89mm. Looking forwards to tomorrow's job.

2 drill drivers fully charged, 1 to drill pilot holes and one to drive the 4” screws, then I need to made a jig to cut some 5 deg. slopes for the run ups. Probably a bit of table saw work too.

Tony.

Your such a busy boy, I’ve just sat on my fat arse all day saying it’s gonna be better tomorrow so I’ll do it then and in anycase it’s Sunday the only day I get off. Works for me but tomorrow will be a different story. Uh!!!

Roy.

Got to get your bedroom ready for the rising bed mate.=))
