Don't know, this idiot is perennial appealer on his projects but hopefully not on this one. I'm going to contact WLDC tomorrow and speak to the planning officer to ask why she didn't know if the 30 odd Park homes across the road constitute village expansion. She has had 6 weeks to find out.

Also I have to say that if you read the Inspectors report that all the points I raised in my observations were mirrored in the report too.

Ahhhhhhh, well done my mate , they’ve obviously seen through what looked like the beginnings of something most un-exceptable to the surrounding location. Hope he sees sense and gives up the ghost.

Stirrings at the Shed today. With the Z outside in the cold my mate Graham (he of the Jimny) dropped off 3 lengths of Dexion style bar. I plan to raise the garage door lifter by around 12" to give greater clearance for lifting cars up to work on.

I will also have to raise the back end of the door runners as the lifting rail will be above the red angle iron which the 2 timbers sit on. This will leave the door "parked on a slope" which I'm hoping will be ok. Long lengths of bar are cut ready to mount between the uprights made and fitted today which will support the motor assembly.

More progress today. Rest of metalwork fettled and added. Panel for power socket made and fitted then removed for painting. I'll post some pictures later if it will work?
