Hi Tony

Also now thinking of getting a Perspex wind shield to fit on the bars as it is draftee and used to the surry top on my TR4 which us a curved rear window and keeps all the drafts off.

Hi Geoff, definitely worth getting a perspex wind deflector, it makes a big difference,

Mr.Hard Top
Success at last, your comments helped a bit but the problem is that the lines round the text box are practically invisible.
Hopefully some one will want these items as they are taking up a lot of floor space in our small home office and they are of no use to me now that I have altered mine for the XS Power roll bar, will have to get a wind breaker now.

Regards

Geoff

Hi Tony
Think your right, its very windy going along at speed even 40MPH. They seem to cost about £95 or do you know of cheaper ones ?

Hi Geoff,

It isn't a difficult job and takes around 2-3 hours depending on your skills but is doable by anyone who can hold a screwdriver and spanner

The bushes are not expensive and is one of the cheapest but most gratifying jobs you can do on you Z3. Link here where you can purchase a set along with the links to the fitting tutorials.

Hi Aceman
The forward movement does not bother me but my wife does not like it so will have to do it between now & spring depending on how much I need to use it as it is now our second car as I only use my classic for high days and holidays when it is not raining.
Yes I found the seat bush site week before last and a supplier at about £12 if I remember right.
Anyway thanks for the info.
Took the Z3 to the body shop to have a few dents/marks sorted, and putting on chrome side air vents that I got for £25 which I thought was a very good price.

No I had no idea.
I checked where I got the price from and it was your site that I looked at the other week.
If you hear of anyone who is in need of the large cubby box and bases for the turrets I have said items in black, open to offers. I want them gone as in the way.

Regards

Geoff

Yes, I have done that, but no takers as yet.
Been trying to get a base holder for the window screen alarm sensors that are located at the top left and right hand corners of window screen as one was missing when I purchased the car a couple of months ago, would you have one ??

regards

Geoff

I made one from a wine bottle cork and painted it black, then super glued it in place.
