So what I had bought was simply a power cable adaptor. The reversing camera I fitted had a power plug for the cig.lighter type socket, but an inbuilt USB port too. What I did was plug the power plug into this cable with couple of laps of insulting tape and plug my dash cam lead into the USB port. When plugged into the power socket in the footwell there is nothing to get feet tangled with.

This is how it was,

and this is how it is now. Much tidier.

I might be fitting some "no drill" parking sensor behind the front bumper, still deciding whether to or not Pete. Ideally you need a smooth surface all the way across the front bumper, and I don't have that.

I guess it could be said that my passenger seat doesn't get off the mark quite as quick as the rest of the car, and also a bit sloppy coming to a stop. So these will definitely improve the performance of my passenger seat...
Why they are called seat bushes, I'm unsure because technically they are shims to take up the backlash in the worm system, over time they get brittle, snap in the middle and fly out to join all the other un-identified artifacts that collect under the seats. Eventually making it ,with the aid of a vacuum cleaner to the jar of other artifacts and BMW bits .. :)

Had a search in the Shed for some fixings, so a job to do.

The new Z3 I picked up last weekend came fully equipped with all the little issues you’d expect to need doing.. that’s my Sunday accounted for then. 😁

Care to explain? I don't understand the parts except from the wipers 😆
Sure

Petrol cap rubber/nitrile washer.. usually perished by now. Potential MOT advisory
Broken Seatbelt guide plastic fix things.
Seat runner shim things - Stops seat rocking
Rubber aerial base grommet
Windscreen washers and non return valves
Aero wipers

Thanks I've also bought the seatbelt guide fix kit but when I learned that I have to unwrap the seat from the leather I changed my mind 😫 Isn't that they way to do it? Perhaps when I buy new leather for the seats I'll do that.
