Worth their weight in gold. I've saved a fortune in garage bills fixing issues that were actually dead simple to do e.g Replacing vacuum hoses or cam position sensors. Even if a repair is beyond your ability (most are in my case) having the codes and doing some research beforehand makes for a more meaningful discussion with the garage.

Fitted my rear brake light today.
Thanks to a bloke called @t-tony found on the internet doing a how too from 2019 helped a lot
Had to extend my tool kit for some extra reach sockets and folowed the tip from Tony keeping a Magnet close by to stop any fixings falling into the crevises of the boot lid. All done now including the new stripes, may be tempory as still wanting the bonnet painting

Hi Paul, I also have some tiny chips here and there peppered on the bonnet. Can I ask how much was the painting quote and wasn't wrapping an option?

It was £600 for the bumper and bonnet, thats with me stripping the bumper and removing both the bumper and bonnet. Will post pictures of stripes tomorrow

Whats the other button, presumably for the Z4 is it, cos' I don't have anything like that on my Z3

Car ready for its second run out of the year, All striped up with version number 2, will do for me till i get the bonett painted, although i do like the stripes, it does make it look a bit differant.
