The photos of the mounts indicate that the deflector does not fold. But the mounts have big knob screws for quick removal of the deflector, and the photos indicate that it will store in the trunk. I emailed cabriosupply to ask if they could make a deflector with a tan frame and binding to match the tan Z3 interior and top (hood). Their "cream" color is way too light.The deflector by cabriosupply appears to be the modern replacement for the original Type 1. Not clear if it can be folded when not in use and with the hood up.
