Apart from most weekends. But I used to do it 7days a week and I'm trying to get back to that but I do like breakfast in bed on a sunday morning hahaAre you fasting 10pm to 4pm the next day every day?

16 hours fasting, 8 hours eating each 24 hour period. 16 hours is the minimum time you should fast for.16:8 ratio? 16 days normal 3 meals a day and 8 fasting?
No this one is fine Dave, it's aimed at being a bit more positive than THAT thread...I'm sure Gaz asked for all the Coronavirus conversations to stay in the thread originally posted by Tony.
Thanks @Davyhoogy I might try this. I don’t want to go shopping and it may be a way to avoid it. What do you reckon?16 hours fasting, 8 hours eating each 24 hour period. 16 hours is the minimum time you should fast for.
If you like mobile apps, the look up Zero Fasting Tracker. Teaches you all about IF, and then acts as a timer/tracker of where you are so you don't lose track. For me it makes me more disciplined, when the app is tracking a fast I don't snack. Thanks @Davyhoogy I might try this. I don’t want to go shopping and it may be a way to avoid it. What do you reckon?
Thanks: I’ll look it up. It sounds an interesting concept and if it helps supplies go further, I’m all for this.If you like mobile apps, the look up Zero Fasting Tracker. Only in the respect that it makes you more aware of what you're eating and when. I've found it's helped my relationship with food so that it doesn't control my life like it used to. It encourages me to stick to my set meals, and generally overall I feel less hungry - so no need to snack or overload the plate. Takes a while and some will power to get in to it, the first week or so I'd look at my evening meal and think will that get me through 16 hours, but it always has. Thanks: I’ll look it up. A mid-afternoon reccie into my rather Wintered garden calls so I’m spending a few hours having a mooch and an initial tidy. I’ve just watched two episodes of Monty and he’s inspired me to venture forth into my garden.
I have some seeds for various veg so I’m looking at starting to grow-my-own as food is an issue and no-one, including the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, knows when this virus will peak. I know it’ll be 3-4 months before I have any produce but I’m looking forward to this.
Happy gardening!

Great advice and so easy to do. I do have a compost bin set up and am thinking of making an area in my garden specifically for this purpose.
And they taste so much more delicious than shop bought ones.I'm going to do something I haven’t done for many years and that is grow some tomato plants in grow bags. If I can get some. You can also grow cucumbers and lettuce in bags too.
Tony.
I’ve not tried to grow cucumbers or lettuces before so any tips would be appreciated

Interesting: I have an active bin and one I have yet to start off. That’s on my “To Do” list for tomorrow. Thanks for the tip @the Nefyn catUsed to have two bins, one to fill while the other sat and rotted down. Takes a good six months to be ready, and doesn't need to be topped up while it's doing its magic.
So, a supporting stick alongside or what from above?Cucumbers need a lot of support from above, in a polytunnel that's easy, outside it comes down to a bit of improvisation. Lettuces? Slugs and snails love 'em. Could always send them round to @t-tony s, sure he won't mind.![]()
