Sharing Helpful Coronavirus Tips for Everyday Living

So, a supporting stick alongside or what from above?

If you're doing it outside, some kind of framework would be best. Think of the weight of a nice crop of cucumbers, and the rest of the plant. And if you've got that sort of stuff, string the tomatos off it, too. And some melons. Peppers will grow well over here, as will them Scotch Bonnet chilis. Yes, the serious man-chilis.:whistle:If I ever have the room, I'll have a polytunnel/greenhouse, makes life much easier, and extends the growing season. Catch the rainwater off the roof, and that's sorted, too. Potatos and tomatos are both from the same family, and may pass blight around, which is one reason for crop rotation. There's more to this than just chucking some seeds around and eating stuff, especially if you don't want to use chemicals. And I don't. Spent a very happy time down in South Wales working on an organic farm, so I learnt a bit. No expert, of course, but no-one knows everything.

Well, I’m off into my garden tomorrow so will be asking questions as I go along. I like the concept of home grown and organic.
