S50 progress thread..

the rear strut is coming off...the car grounded out about 20 times on the last run with it on....if anyone is putting one on keep the car at the standard height.

on a better note the car is booked in on Monday for a full detail (needs it after bringing half of Derbyshire home with us)
iv seen this guys work and its way above what iv seen before so shes going in.
when shes done i will invite him to the forum if its ok with the mods?

Hi Wayne
That's how I got my rear strong strut
The previous owner Southernboy tried it on his car that was lowered
and realised it would not work and didn't even fit it
I feel the ///M's are low enough already

Are you going for the £100 valet? You'll have let us know how it is as stalyvegas isn't too far away from me.
Hi
I would have thought £100 was too cheap for a good valet
I have seen them take two days to do it properly
I've paid £120-£150 for a mobile valet bloke I know

no its being detailed ...inside and out...theres some marks on the bodywork i want removing and the seats have gone all shiney ...so its getting the full monty.
pics to follow

summat like that haha

the detail has took the car to a different level....i thought id done ok....but this is how it looks when the professionals get hold of it...

Looks great Wayne, you can even see the coloured stitching on the steering wheel again

Looks great Wayne, you now need to maintain it at that level.

Will see it at the end of May.

Was it machine polished and the paintwork corrected?

It looks amazing Wayne

Worth the few hundred pounds, but you need to
Becareful when you clean it yourself.

Don't drive it is the best option8-)

He had it for 2 days...I'm assuming it was machine polished....and we had a run to oulton park today...I'm glad it was dry haha.
Mark how would you maintain it?

Thanks for the compliments chaps...
