S50 progress thread..

well after a burnt hand as we didnt have much time on the ramp to let the engine cool down i finally got the CPV out today ...just changed the O ring and the valve seemed in good nick...went to change the A/C belt and found out i'd had the wrong one sent out...efin ebay !
new one ordered and soon to be done.
i keep looking at the cruise control.........!
 
MOT today...advised on rear tyres....again ......4mm.....he asked me if i couldn't just drive it a bit more sedately =))
apart from that no others....

edit...had to buy legal plates...bugger !!!

swamper, Not sure if you have had any luck with this wayne, below are some diagrams that will help you test the Cruise control switch. With the switch disconnected you should be able to test for continuity in the following places.

It's all about the start.

Low tyre pressure is the key.

I've looked on fastest laps and compared the two.

The z3m edges it overall!
 
you getting in with me next time...we can have a mix of regional swearing ;)

if it was dryer it would have been a lot closer..... but it was an M5..so no shame in that ;)
 
really.....must try harder.....but without traction control it really starts to spin up...maybe some semi slicks on next time
 
Hey Wayne, If your going to have BMG in your car when you make the next run, make sure he's got his diaper on.:)
