Must add thanks to Bill for all the work in organizing the day. Some great photos posted and obviously the route covered a lot of the interesting parts of the Peak. Pity our group lost touch, not to mention members, just two at the end! Never mind there's always the next one and in any case we still had a good day and the chance to catch up with a lot of fellow members.:)

Hi billz.

Sorry I missed your run. I turned up at the start at the right time (Alfreton Service Station) at the published postcode and found one other who done the same. I drove to the next postcode site at Eyam Car Park and found the same - waited for others to arrive but did not happen. I don't know what went wrong - maybe better luck next time. Hope you had a good run and had a good turn out.

Home now. Our total for this trip was 557 miles the final 150 with our sons dog Curie in the footwell of the Zed. She had a quite restricted journey, held in the ice like grip of Maxine's thighs. All things considered, she was a very good dog. Hope to be able to post a picture of her in the car. Thanks again for a good cruise. Alan & Maxine

Thanks for a great day, still have just under half a tank of fuel - just shows how economical our drive was yesterday.

However had a few engine warning lights on the drive to work this morning. Got my Carly out, however they could not be removed.

My suspicion was water damage from the ford - so removed sensors and replaced them. Removed warnings; and some testing down the local strip and all good.

looking forward for the next event

Well got in from work and cleaned the wheels then snow foamed rinsed and washed the Z then towel dry. I have to admit now it is coated it was the easiest car wash I have done. 30 minutes start to finish.

Thank to Bills for all the route work which we seemed to have
Problems with some of the time=))=))
Nice to meet some old friends albeit briefly at the start, but
Had to be one of the ones who had to peel off for family business!
Still thanks to a Paul and Dom for getting us around in way they do it.
An enjoyable day:thumbsup:
