Better late than never mate. And worth the wait. Some really nice piccys there. Can't wait for the next one.
Roy i have not got a clue to what you are referring to, i took it steady all day Kim only twice told me to f***ing slow down, so i must of been good. Mind her stomach almost ended up in her throat when we went over that bit of a hump on the road to LongnorBill was fast as was I trying to stay with him, and allso furious picking up something in one of my brake discs slowing me down enough to get passed by v8M and twin turbo. If anyone out there thinks the pace was sedate then ask me next time you see what sort of speeds were achieved on a certain twisty B road. I've looked on my dash cam for this piece of road but it's been overwritten as was a lot of what I really wanted. Don't take my word for it and step up and go out with Bill at some opertune moment. Nuff said.
Roy.
"Bill it must have been a wet dream then".Roy i have not got a clue to what you are referring to, i took it steady all day Kim only twice told me to f***ing slow down, so i must of been good. Mind her stomach almost ended up in her throat when we went over that bit of a hump on the road to Longnor
Hope you enjoyed it Roy and blew some cobwebs out of the engine"Bill it must have been a wet dream then".
Hat off to your local knowledge Bill, as some of them bends would have probably left me high and dry. Following a local is allways easier than leading, I was able to shorten my braking distance on most bends seeing where you braked. Made it more comfortable me being a stranger on that great route. Pace was a little on the quick side for my first outing behind you though. However your forgiven.Hope you enjoyed it Roy and blew some cobwebs out of the engine
You will have to come up here more often then Roy, so you can get used to the roadsHat off to your local knowledge Bill, as some of them bends would have probably left me high and dry. That's because young Roy is a teararse Bill.To be fair to you Roy you would not of known it was your first run around this area as you kept up admirably. Hats off to you
Yes, certainly did Bill, twas a good run...Hope you did some new roads that you have not done in the past...
Are you planning the 3.0 brake upgrade RoyNeed bigger brakes Bill then maybe could get a bit closer to you in the twisty stuff. Hat off to my Z since the 330i intake swap and the Koni sport sus.Owned it for 10yrs next month and it's never let me down even though it gets caned most days, must have been a good one from the factory. Still filthy dirty in my lockup.
Roy.
Thought you'd fallen asleep or you was finding this one boring. That's because young Roy is a teararse Bill.
Tony.
Yeah, we had some squatters in the house only managed to get them out today. We took them on an 8.5 mile walk yesterday as well, calling in at 4 pubs - good times...Better late than never mate...
Bill I've spent the money for my brake upgrade so many times in the past I'll have to wait for someone to leave me a inheritance. Any way what's the point in doing 30ltr brakes, it might just get me a few yards closer when I really need to overtake.........................(.blower.)Are you planning the 3.0 brake upgrade Roy
