At least he didn't lose everyone at the first round about like last year
Looks a great day and a great cruise.
Just missing a Silver Boxster.........
You would not of liked it Karl as it was quite a sedate pace ask Roy @Rha
I don't do sedate pace and I suggest on one of Billz or TaffZee's cruises sedate is left at home
Got 2 words for u tw*tty b*llocks.
Sounds even better in Dolby 5.1 .
My heart is OK, it's just my perforated ear drums that need attention .
So you had Mozza getting lost, Bill and Mozza arguing about who got lost (and who's fault it was) and lots of great driving in-between. Sounds like your average zed cruise then!
It looks like you had a great day, gutted I missed it.
You would of loved it Pete fast and furious.
Yeah but who was fast and who was furious?
No problem - always good to meet new members - lovely looking car you have
Many thanks to Bill for organising it - had a great day out despite the little incident with my front bumper...
@Grumpy where are the photos of the big splash?
Most didn't come out mate. The photos were taken into the sun so the cars were barely visable.
You back to your normal photographic self
Missing fisticuffs though....
Your in bother now, Jue took them
Thanks to @billz for putting together a great route round the Peaks. It seems ours was the only group that stayed together and on route. Thanks therefore must go to @Bazza, @Grumpy, @Redline, @Mnbrennan, @Bozzy and @Andy Beard for following cruise etiquette. We picked up @Alan Slade at one of our stops when he decided to join our group. I hoped you all enjoyed being in the 'Pipe and Slippers' group.
Didn't take many photos as too busy chatting with peeps, it was good to see old friends and (hopefully) make some new ones. A great day with good weather, good roads and good company. What more could you ask for?
Here are some of the pics I took including the Tissington Ford where we all made quite a splash. The last two of me crossing the ford were taken by @Bazza (head on) and @jue1 (side on):
Quality pictures @Mint and before anyone asks my hands were firmly on the wheel!
Bill was fast as was I trying to stay with him, and allso furious picking up something in one of my brake discs slowing me down enough to get passed by v8M and twin turbo. If anyone out there thinks the pace was sedate then ask me next time you see what sort of speeds were achieved on a certain twisty B road. I've looked on my dash cam for this piece of road but it's been overwritten as was a lot of what I really wanted. Don't take my word for it and step up and go out with Bill at some opertune moment. Nuff said.
