I thought about you this morning Steve as I scoured the leaden and overcast misty skies over Lincoln and I wondered if it was much better where you are and if you'd managed to get out.
Tony.
Tony.
Just my luck. Am in Lincoln today - looks like being a very wet day :-(Oh!, and just as a by the way, the sun did come out over Lincoln. About half an hour before it got dark.
Tony.
Certainly does Ian, welcome to the City. I'm on Carholme Rd. Where will you be?Just my luck. Am in Lincoln today - looks like being a very wet day :-(
Sorry Tony - it took much longer than expected. Had to make tracks for home again. Will be back in coming months I expect.Hi Ian, just scrounged a charging lead, my iPad was dying! I'm just around the corner over the Uni bridge on the A57 at Tanvic Tyres.
Tony.
Just back. Called in my parents for a few minutes which was a big surprise for them. Makes the detour and the delays on the M1 worthwhile. Going to be a few visits to the vet over coming weeks but hopefully we've made some progress on problems over the last year or so and hopefully some normality can be restored soon.Ok Ian, hope things went as well as they could today. Let me know if/when you're heading back. Safe journey home.
Tony.
Cheers Tony,I thought it was £60 for the fine and 3 points but obviously not any more.....the increase probably came in the same day i got caught ,could be up to 6 points as well.Sorry to hear that Steve, what happened to the £50 fine? Then your Ins. co. Will load your premium too.
Tony.
That's awful news and bad luck. I'd seen lots of them out and I hope I'd kept under the limit all the way up the A41.Cheers Tony,I thought it was £60 for the fine and 3 points but obviously not any more.....the increase probably came in the same day i got caught ,could be up to 6 points as well.
Kids are wonderful when there good.Glad you had a good day anyway mate. Looking forwards to taking our grandsons over to Florida next spring, they're great.
Tony.
ps. I noted another couple of songs for the CD list.
Just read the letter a bit more and can apply for a driver improvement course costing £85 but it's West Mercia so i imagine i would have to travel to that area to do it if my application is accepted, but it seems you don't get points if you do the course. Two things. You should be offered a speed awareness course (if you don't have any previous) but there's also 10%+2 which I my book just covers 68 in a 60 limit.
Just realised I haven't calibrated the speedo on mine
Painful but take the course. There may. Be a local one you can do.Just read the letter a bit more and can apply for a driver improvement course costing £85 but it's West Mercia so i imagine i would have to travel to that area to do it if my application is accepted, but it seems you don't get points if you do the course.
I thought the same Ian re 10% + 2mph so i may give them a call.
