I think first port of call is fluid change Steve, I just need to complete the work on my bleeder and test it when I've fitted some hoses. Perhaps some pads at the same time and check the calliper operation?

Tony.

What was the problem mate
Everything seemed in order Sean, but we took the calipers off, cleaned up and lubed the slider pins, the pads were glazed so we deglazed them, lubed the pad plates where they slide on the carriers.
Resembled them and then pressure bled them.
All seems good now so I'm more than happy. Not quite as much feel as Tony has in his after fitting his new brake lines, they feel superb mate so maybe something else to add to the list .
On the down side my zed is filthy now from the wet roads and it's raining now so it'll be hanging by the time we arrive at yours tomorrow .

I'll wash mine in the morning just to make you feel worse when you arrive :D, good to hear that you finally have some brakes.

The high light of the afternoon's toils was the fact we've proved the repair on the pressure bleeder, now back to fully functional.
