Just a small tip for the master, take the Eon shopping and leave the Z4 for more important activities

One small matter arose yesterday, when we fitted the new plastic corner section to the N/S under tray/wheel arch liner there was a cable connector left over. We disconnected/reconnected the fog lamp (1), the outside air temp. sensor was removed from the broken piece of the old plastic and fitted into the new and reconnected (2), but this connector was left and we could not see anywhere it could have come from. Everything works as far as I can see. Any ideas Z4 owners?

Tony.

Not as far as I'm aware mate. I have a sneaky feeling that I removed something from under there after I broke the plastic panel. I remember tying up the outside Air temp. sensor at the time.

Following on from the front bumper issue I got a new rubber splitter and got it fitted today.

Also had the wheels all off and refreshed the disc hubs and callipers which were ready after a couple of years.

Looking good mate, the splitter gives a more aggressive stance

The very last bit of TLC on the front end done today. The number plate surround took a battering and the plastic was stretched out of shape so with the help of some G cramps, some pieces of flat metal and a heat gun I got it back into shape and looking almost like new. I'm pleased with my efforts.
