Next project is getting an Acrylic panel made for the wind blocker between the seats like I did for the E85. This is for mounting my rear facing camera and for displaying my forum name. I cut down the old template for the E85 one.

Just need to visit Trent Platics in Gsinsborough tomorrow, up the road from another place I have to visit re another project.

Called Sopers this morning and spoke to Neil about some front mats for my car. He said he didn't have them in stock but would have them for pick up after 2.00. Sure enough he did and at good price too.

I'll get the floor hoovered and the mats in tomorrow.
While we were there I spotted some nice cars.

Across the road at Pennells, in the car park.

A couple of other items came in the post today,

and another couple ordered and two more enquired about.
I also picked these up, after driving home from Gainsborough in the rain this morning to get this,

I knew they were needed.

The Z8 is stunning. Did you find out if they're selling it or it's just for show?

No, didn't find out if it was for sale, but did get sick of one of the sales people looking down his nose at me and Shirl as though we didn't belong in his showroom. We will be changing Shirl's car at some point and it may be a BMW but, it isn't likely we would buy it from Sopers.

On a lighter point. This morning I hoovered the car and fitted the new mats I collected from Sopers yesterday.

Really nice fit and the cabin "feels" more luxurious with them in.
Also, in today's post some new wheels centre caps.

From yesterday, the cig. lighter removed from the green plastic item.

Connected to a length of 2 core cable. Under the glove box some models have a 12v power socket, mine has the mounting point for the socket only. I intend to fit this socket in the mounting hole.

And the 3M tape on the magnet trimmed to size.

It’s off because I’ve been a few times to Sopers and the sales people are exactly like this yet the parts people are warm and friendly.
