Called today to see how the Paintwork was going. Well its all painted, bonnet off car at present and a few build up jobs to do, but totally gob struck it looks fantastic Headlamps also done along with some bits on the inner boot area and inner front wings where the paint had worn away. Initial worries on colour match unfounded. Seeing the car in the paint booth under all those lights the colour looks spot on with a good deep shine. Just needs putting back together and it can come home. Did mean to take some pictures but seeing the car and talking at length to Alan who prepped and painted the car clean forgot! Will take some pictures when i get her home, yes she looks that good its got to be female. Can you tell i'm pleased?

Its home, I can stop looking out the window now wondering where it is!
First chance to see it outside, really impressed with the finish and attention to detail.
Anyone in the Doncaster area wanting paintwork, I can highly recommend Alan Burton at Extreme Refinish.
Would be nice if the sun was shining, roll on spring.

Always looked well until closer inspection. 17 years of stone chips, car park knocks and a couple of scrapes (Not down to me) evident on closer inspection, fine as a daily driver but not as my pride and joy.
First job applying paint sealant before wrapping up against the winter weather to come.

Pictures aren't showing for me! You just trying to build up the excitement?

Now the Z3 has gone and the money has been piled into the Z4 i have the makings of a show car
Still want to do the runs out and the Holidays already booked, but life with the Z4 will be a little more selective now.

What to do on a wet dank day, With the new boot badge fitted attention turns to the calipers. Too cold outside so decided to do a bit of prep work on the new caliper clips.

Phase 1 of the Wheel arch renovation complete. New discs painted hopefully to combat that rusty look.
Using Gloss black engine block spray paint hopefully keep that fresh look behind the Alloy wheels and compliment the Black calipers when they are painted.

Next job get the car on axle stands and remove wheels.
