Yes I am up for that but not as a Guinness world record. The cost of the Guinness participation is £4000 in 2014 and will be higher next year and you have to arrange clicker counters somewhere where it is impossible for cars to be missed or counted twice etc. Far too much hassle for a group that just want to have a good time. I got involved at the early stages for the potential BMW CC GB most BMW's at Silverstone last year before it got shelved due to the cost and hassle it was going to involve but lets wait and see what happens. there is a group that want to do it at Brands hatch they have tried twice I understand and it doesn't seem to come off. I like the idea of an unofficial record but the hassle of making it official... not my bag sorry. It means finding sponsors and pushing it at levels I am not up for. I don't want to be a damper on the idea but it really is a B..... ache.
 
Enough. Keep it on topic. If you are not interested in coming on the run, perhaps best off not participating in this thread.

I do agree BUT this thread is likley to be read by a lot of people that do not know you @badman gee and that might lead to mis-understanding and I know you would not want to put anyone off thinking about coming inadvertently. Those that know and love you count our blessings that your with us, but sometimes it can be unintentionally intimidating.

Thanks do we have any contacts to the French forum? I will email Mike fishwick and with luck @Ludger Kieven will see it and post on his forum as well. That reminds me I owe him an answer for their scouting trip.

I would love to think that would be possible but I don't think we could get that number.. But what the heck.. shall we have a go.. =))
