OK boys and girls. Duncan AKA @La_vida_diver is back to focus on the Zroadster.org world from late October. I do not plan to do Silverstone Classic in 2015. I think we have done it to death.

Right onto topic if I am not doing Silverstone what do I fancy doing well how about the London to Brighton. Here is a flyer I have got sent to me as a result of speaking to the management firm that run it. I have started sounding them out about a special Zroadster.org section (that means anyone with a Z wherever they come from). I have also started to sound out about hotels at the lower price bracket (I can't afford a dear one and I might even investigate camping as well).

This post is to set up the scale of how much effort I will put in to the organisation and also to sound out the interest. I think it would make a great highlight to 2015 and be something we have not done before.

I will next be talking to the organisers mid to late October (now mid November) so it would be great to go back with some feedback.

Next year’s entry fee is just £95 per vehicle and covers driver and navigator and includes:
·Entry and parking fees in Greenwich Park
·Route book and list of entrants
·Personalised certificate of participation for the driver
·House tour at Saint Hill Manor
·Individually numbered London to Brighton Run commemorative rally plaque
    ·Commemorative brass finishers medal
·VIP Parking on Madeira Drive in Brighton reserved exclusively for participants use.
·Plus the experience of taking part in one of the most impressive displays of vintage, classic, kit and sports cars in the country.

Discuss please!!! I also plan to forward a link to this thread to the organisers so that they can both view and with luck join in the discussion

This would be an absolute fantastic day/weekend Duncan I am certainly interested if we can sort out decently priced hotel as I imagine they bump the prices up for that weekend down south London area.

Great to have you back with your organosing cap on. :D

Polly Brown as @hard top says welcome to the forum and lets hope that though you might be indicating this as your first by the time we get to May next year you have been to some other of our get togethers, you will definitely be most welcome! There are even a few left for this year like the one this Sunday at the Haynes museum or there are some other guys over Southampton way that are bound to be doing things that you could go along to as well. we did a great Seat Bush event last weekend over Eastley way I think it was (other side of the country for me so I may have the location wrong, but it was a long way) anyway take a look at some of the other events that might happen you will meet a great bunch of people.

@Polly Brown guilty for holding the seat bush day with six others over here by Winchester / Eastleigh. Welcome to a very healthy forum which can get very lively too.

I will be heading to Sparkford on Sunday to meet up with a few as @La_vida_diver has mentioned. Meeting up with a few more on route too. So if you are at a loose end on Sunday, why not head over and join in the fun.

If you can't, not to worry as I am sure we will be heading out for a coffee and drive one Sunday.

    Regards from along the coast.
