When I did the ones off my Z3 I used the wire wheel on my bench grinder. It removed the loose stuff and smoothed the rest, but be warned, wear a dust mask or you'll be coughing up rust for a week.

Yeah I knowQuite like that pal but I recon your shocks are well and truly ready for a change![]()
Visibility is very poor, but the style is much better than standard. So shallow and desperate of you fitting M mirrors on a 2.8. I’d never be caught dead doing that. Not me
Gotta love the look of the shape even if you can see less out of them than the square ones!
Wheels look really nice. Car is looking sleek with that new roof..need to save some pennies I think..
Thanks, im going to live with them for a few month then change back and see how i feel. i have a probable buyer for either so doesnt make much difference to me.I personally prefer the wheels you already have. Black looks good but they are also "less busy"![]()

The wheels i really like, which i wasnt expecting. They show off the calipers better, but they will need a refurb if i keep them.
I learned a trick with these from a US forum - when on the motorway adjust them outwards so you don’t see the rear wings of your car (I usually like to see where the car ends) but doing this removes quite a big blind spot.Visibility is very poor, but the style is much better than standard.
