Fitted the purple and black sports seats today. With the matching gaiters after a very thorough clean (I thought they were black).
Next weekend I might try get the purple dash out of the other car to precondition and fit also.

The heated seat for the drivers seat was a different yellow connection it was oval shape not the thin flat one, but it just pops off the tube thingy at the side of the seat so swapped it for one on the red seats.

I thought I'd have to the these red but I'm really liking the silver and purple! So I guess it will stay!

One thing is for sure I won't be replacing my lovely 'royals' steering wheel for the purple one haha.

That purple works on a smart silver car I think.
Call me mad but would those wheels look good on there with a hint of purple?

Could try some purple nut caps or valve caps
They'll go nice with purple towel?
I know a bloke who makes cracking stone guards, maybe he could knock you up a set of purple ones ;)

Go with the purple it's very smart and different but keep it understated. Not ott like mine will end up because I like more bling than a third rate rapper.

I think I like first or third one. I'd like them to be a bit darker though really

Swapped over the door cards.
There's a few condition issues with the door cards. It's not noticeable but now I know they exist.
The passenger speaker assembly was screwed into the doorcards, so I swapped them for the nice ones from the old door cards.
The only other thing is the drivers arm support (the flat bit) has given in, you can't tell with the doorcards on but looking inside the doorcards, the hard orange board stuff has all split. Not sure if it's repairable or not. I didn't get a pic.

Here before and after;

I'm really not too fussed about the purple dash but I can't leave a purple dash in a black car with red interior =))

What's the crack with this little alarm button? Do these even work?

Got a spare set of rusty front calipers and bought some dremmel tools for use with a drill to clean them up.

Went to town on the retention clip and got it back to metal but it took too long so only smoothing out the caliper not going back to bare metal.

David, I had good result with a grinding wheel attachment for the electric drill to 'polish' the rough edges. But I'm the same, it's to go back to pure bare metal, not sure it's necessary either...

It took me 2 hours to do the 2 just smoothing them out nicely.
A bit overkill I think going right back
