It'd be nice(er) if you posted what you've done, what you bought, from where etc. Otherwise I see a steering wheel a few months afterward and the amount of information I get to do the same is... well none :) I mean, *everyone else* who already done it would love it of course :)
Sorry i just get excited to post new things and forget to add more information haha.
The steering wheel was re-upholstered by a company called royal steering wheels.
They have done a few cars on this forum with great results!

Ahhhh yes I read about these, thanks! Did you got the for 'exchange' setup, or did you wait for yours to come back?

In my opinion Dave they look much better than the aftermarket headlamps that you can buy from eBay. Just a cleaner overall look! Good job.

You can connect them to the relay so that they come on when you use the remote to open the doors, I just never got around to doing it

I did want to do that. Just don't know how. Also are they bright enough? Wired just into side lights but not sure if they have enough power or if they are lit to their full potential?!
Cheers for the tip on this kit though!

Its not the brightest kit mate but looks great in low light, there is a wiring diagram on here somewhere that shows how to put them on the remote.

How did you contact them David? I've sent them a message via their website but didn't hear back from them. What did they do about your slip ring in the end? I'm planning to send my wheel as I'm refurbing a sport type steering wheel rather than the regular M sport version. Do they have set prices or does it depend on what they do?

I had just emailed them twice I think as they were pretty busy I waited a while for a reply.
I just sent the wheel as it came off the car I didn't realise anything about the slip ring but it was broken when it came back. They have set prices for each option. So I got the standard refurb with 2 styles of leather. Then there's the option to have the thumb grips added in. Then you can also have a flat bottom on the steering wheel which I did like the look of but I didn't risk it with mine.
They did send me sample pics when they responded.
