Keep the ACS wheels. They look way better than the black ones. Car looks really good with either but the black is just a touch too drab to my eyes.

Loving the new modifications

Prefer the ACS wheels, but then again I’m a bit biased towards them lol

Got to get myself some of those Z3M mirrors

Does anyone know what size spigot rings are for the hubs/wheels on a 2.8?
2 were missing from these wheels so I need to order new ones

Centre bore of the Z3 is 72.5

so you will need to find out what the CB of the ACS wheels is

ACS UK will know - ask for Lorcan and provide the details of the alloys you have - which I believe are ACS?

I’ve PMd you.

For anyone needing to know in the future they are 82mm. Ordered some aluminium spigot rings so they will be on by the weekend, full tank of fuel and go for a long overdue spin.

'Purple rain' looked good when I came out of the shops the other night too..

While my door cards are off I thought I'd fit some sound proofing. No idea if it will make any difference but we will find out. In summer while the hardtop is off I might try fit some under the lining on that.

I've got a roll of the stuff. Can't do any harm.
Also re-sealing the waterproof membrane behind the door cards with new butyle strip.

All good stuff Davy. The door skins on my Z4 will get some attention too when the cards come off for electrical installations!

The cover hasn't been on the z3 this winter @t-tony and the seats and carpets are drenched. Not sure if the rubbish waterproofing has anything to do with it.
Just another thing on the list?..

Anyway just put a nice solid bead around and another layer of soundproofing, I think it's waterproof stuff anyway.
It better sound like a Roller inside now ha

Looks good stuff mate, where did you acquire it from if you don't mind me asking? Any sound proofing can only refine the ride quality especially when the hard top is on. Getting the interior dry a job for the spring then, does you car live outside then?

Yeah she's too low to get on the drive haha. Usually fine when covered up but it's not been on.

When I've finished all of the rear end refurb I'll put a overview in here. In the mean time here is the assuming culprit of the faulty central locking...previous bodge jobs seem to be a running theme with this car now.

I'm just cleaning up and reconnecting for now. If it works it works. I may put new lengths of wire in next year when I don't have anything to do haha
