I had that type on. My Z3 bought it bare and painted it myself. If you go for one a good tip for fitting is to put a strip of masking tape accross the boot lid, degrease the area where it will fit and line it up with the edge of the tape.

Indeed @t-tony
Pelican parts guide suggests 3 hours and a high level of difficulty.. don't know if I'm being ignorant and optimistic but I can't see how it can be that hard and take that long

That's where it is, near to the starter motor. Not easy even on a ramp, I did mine on my Z3 2.0. Just make sure you have a good Allen key/socket and make sure it's fully home into the screw before attempting to turn it.. Don't round it out or you will need to remove the s/motor too.

I've got a good habit of hammering alan keys into place so there's less risk of slipping. Nothing worse than a rounded bolt!!

I think you're right mate, I would favour putting some flush through that and do another change. Forte do a flushing agent that you can run in your motor for a while as it has very good lubricating properties unlike some flushes which are nearly neat cleaner.

Engine oil done with new filter.
Gearbox oil done also.
Diff will have to wait as haven't got the 14mm Allen key socket.
I'll wait and see the gearbox difference after driving it a while but immediately the placebo effect tells me it's 100% better

This thing is a God send from halfords!! Really easy.
