Few more bits ordered this week.

..New spark plugs, the ones supplied with the car weren't for this car at all so makes me wonder if the ones in the car are even correct. They will be changed today.

With the help of @Axelf the plan was to lower the car this weekend. DHL don't do bank holidays so the springs won't be arriving in time :'( so they will be 2 weeks away from fitting.

I also ordered some magnetic sheets and some carbon vinyl to cover my existing stone guards and try make new ones.
(Possible fail)

At some point I think I'll have the seats out and carpets for a deep clean also, weather dependant.

Aren't long weekends with no football useful!

Ha I've got loads of carbon wrap. But no magnet sheets left. You'd need only 3 sheets of a4 to do a full set

They look really good. What thickness of magnetic sheet did you use? Do you know the pull strength? I can find 0.5mm thick and 23g/cm2 or 0.85mm thick and 40g/cm2 on Amazon.

Big question........did they stay on?

0.8 I used. And yes, stayed on at 100. Which I obviously did on a race track and not a public road

There must be more racetracks than public roads in the UK to hear you guys talk. I have a set of uppers but can't find the lowers, would you be interested in making me a pair in black and if so how much shipped to Canada? JIM

Jim I had the same problem.
If you can wield scissors you can do it.
Order one if these....

Cut out a template on paper make sure your happy with it against the car then transfer it to the magnetic sheet. Then cover them with gloss black vinyl.
It's very easy and will cost you about £7.
I suspect postage to Canada would cost more than that alone!
