Hardtop Fixing Centres

Hi guys! So made my head around and I am buying Chris's OEM hardtop and selling my weissman fitting kit. What kind of price should I be looking to sell it for? Can't find another one for comparison.

Are you going looking for another Weissman top Stacey? I like them as you know but SFA here in Canada! Make an offer I'm sure the fitting kit will be the tough part if the top you find doesn't come with one. Most I've looked at were top only! JIM

There is a tiny amount of x-y adjustment if you undo the big nut on the hardtop under the bracket albeit this is usually used for the adjustment on the Z plane. @Rui Almeida you are going to have this issue no matter who's hardtop you buy, the OEM hardtop are all the same, how far is it out?. I have never in 8+ years seen a fitting kit like this, can you see any part numbers on it at all?

I have a hard top for my 1998 2.8 Z3 and am looking at buying a 2002 3.0 Z3 without a hard top. will my kit and top fit the 2002?

Yes no problem as g8jka says it will fit all models.

I made the deal, now I have to pull the kit from one to put on the other! I guess I get to dive deeply under the carpet to track down wires for the defroster, but that will give me a chance to deep clean and also add some Dynamat sound deadener like I did on the last one.
