Grumps has moved.

Slow and steady wins the race mate, top job

Yeah no rush. Small job being done tomo by one of our forum chaps then onto the first bedroom. I reckon 2 years to complete it mate.

Don't forget to let the council know, I know how much you care about your banding =))

Looking good Dave. We sealed the whole house up when knocking through a few years ago with sheets of polythene and rolls of gaffer tape, only to be hugely disappointed when we finished. The dust got everywhere.(even into my shed at the bottom of the garden):bag:. Lesson here is, don’t bother cos it just don’t pay time wise.
Be careful you don’t over do it.

Roy.;)

Well in but certainly not done. Kitchen, bathroom, complete replaster, new floors, floorboards to polish, chimney to point, new windows..............:arghh:
sooo, not just your car when it comes to making it your own,:)

Just be careful that the dust is just brick/plaster dust. Most pre 1990 buildings used asbestos in some form or other.:(

It's awful Roy, never seen anything like it, it's got everywhere, were still finding it after 3 hours of cleaning last night.

Now there's a nice thought. Unfortunately for me I used to strip roofs for a living in my early 20's. This included asbestos without any form of mask. At best it was damped down so it's a gamble for me :(

Another job done off the list today. A huge thanks to @Bozzy for fitting me an outside tap so I can now wash the zed when I've been taken into the nearest cow s*** farm courtesy of @Mint! :arghh:

You're welcome mate ;).
It was an enjoyable afternoon and Jue's home cooked dinner was sooo nice :hungry:, thank you.
You do realise that now @Mint knows you can wash Reggie at home, you'll be going through Throwley farm yard every time .

You can remember the name of the bloody farm! :wideyed:

I'm still here you know=)). I'll gladly take you on a trip of some of the best farmyards the Peaks has to offer Grumps. You only have to ask, especially now you have facilities to wash Reggie;)
