Update. First major job done. Got the bathroom upstairs now, quite a big task as we had to get all the pipework up there first.

Looking real nice Dave, what a busy little/big fella you are. Know how you must be feeling as I offered the boss to fill a few grout holes in b/room last Tues (and yes you guessed) ended up two days re grouting the effing lot. No mate it does not. I am doing the bathroom in stages as we are still having to use it so taking a lot longer than expected
We moved the bathroom completely so had the old one to use until a last couple of days, once the loo had been moved then it was a bit more awkward. All good fun though.

Yes we are putting in a 1700 shower tray and to get it level i had to rip up and relay new floor boards in the area it is going
Fun these old houses aren't they! We've had to put 3mm concrete boards down over the floor boards before we tiled as ply wouldn't have worked as the floor boards were so bad. Some boards had to be replaced as well due to wood worm.

We have to do that as well.Just finished stage 1 of drainage for the shower. I can now seat it on a bed of cement then I will be able to finish that section hopefully by xmas

Another job done today. I've never seen so much dust!!! It's even got through the floorboards into the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. 
My back is shot to pieces but it's worth it. Just got to dress up the bricks on Sunday and job done till we start the kitchen.

Yeah will get it valued once it's all done but to be fair I don't expect profit. Although I did get the house very cheap the ceiling limit on our street is low so if we break even that's fine. We will have a fully renovated house to live in.
