I love the getho spacer/hammer!

Have you been that brave as to go under the car that much with just these stands, and do all the back end from there? Blimey I'm such a wussy

The car sits on the stand as solid as can be. I was a little apprehensive at first then tried to shake the car and have not worried since.

Rear struts in, replaced headlight switch (mine overheated a while ago and i had to do a soldering bodge after my headlight would not turn off at 01:30 in the morning!), bolted handbrake cables in the car and returned handbrake cover. Also, Even though Ive bought a new dial cover? I’ve found the extended original one. . .covered in glue and under the black leather! Not sure how to remove the final middle screw that holds the dash panel to the cover but fingers crossed the glue can be removed and it’s not damaged underneath.

Not sure what to do with my drivers side window, as you can see below the common issue of rust on the mount runs deep but i cant twist the mirror thinking i have issue #2 the seized internals, they currently work . . .

I got this off eBay when we were in Florida a couple of years ago, wasn't expensive and fits on the original base.

Again @spurs fan in a coupe saved me with a new second hand hub- thanks. This meant getting them both painted including the front ARB and arb brackets. . . Also gave the hardtop a go. Now that was a bit more of a mission! Almost perfect is good enough for me cause I ain’t perfect .

Jigsaw and lollipops = easy as pie getting the bushes out! Ive got new ones that cam with the wishbones but as they are solid rubber i used the bmw gapped rubber ones as it was easier to get the jig in the holes to cut it out.

Zed fans with a hardtop . . . I NEED your help.

What size ore the (i) Hexagon-head screw x4?

I bought a hardtop with fixing kit and the guy assured me there were screws in car . . .there weren’t and there is no part no for this one.
