I think this similar to a fix I saw on Wheeler Dealers, but I cant remember what car it was done on.
The existing window rubber is a hollow tube, and the idea is to push a smaller dia tube or solid rubber down inside it. This stiffens and reshapes the existing window rubber.

May even work using polythene tubing??

Finished installing front hubs, new brake lines with joint, brakes, & disks. Only problem the non oem speed sensor doesn’t seem to fit and its been a mission pushing it almost home. Turned on car and found a few lights on the dash. Haven’t topped up coolant and so didn’t want to start her just yet. Also found that although I’ve got the radiator temp sensor fitting I don’t seem to have the right fuses in leading to a question around the possibility of a fan delete.

After closer inspection i may have found both the radiator temp switch and aux fan plug! Need to obtain a few fuses get a temp switch and do the kettle test with a voltmeter. What could go wrong?:nurse::nailbiting:

Took her out for a local drive to start breaking in the brake pads and disks, all abs lights cleared themselves once I got driving and it’s all feeling tight with all that power flex in there:ymdevil:

@MRH1966 thanks for the offer and compliment! When you say if you need anything...how far do your skills go? I will at some point need help with a manifold swap but this will be in the new year once I’ve colllected all the required parts! As for the INPA (had to google that) not sure what I’d need from it as my OBD2 reader is coming back with 0 faults, nice! Great to have support from another Zed family member
