The wait is over.
Formula 1 is back on telly this weekend for the Chinese GP.
Hi Hard Top

As expected, over in China today, most of the press meetings have centred around the previous GP and "Multi 21" to help you get up to speed, you can read our Multi 21 Explained feature to get up to speed with the latest from Sebastian "I'm not sorry now" Vettel and Mark "I've had a haircut" Webber.

If you need to plan your weekend, here's the full F1 TV Times - and yes the race is live on the BBC, presented by the lovely Suzi Perry.

In other news, Georgie Thompson is back in F1, albeit as the face of Sure for Men deodorants, who've produced a Lotus F1 version of their products. Speaking of fun, there's fun there are some new "F1 lookalikes" on the site right now too.

We've also been busy chatting to the excellent F1 artist, Paul Oz and the brilliantly funny cartoonist Chris Rathbone.

And finally tickets are available for our Super Monaco GP Bash in May which will be loads of fun. Free fizz on arrival, to get you in the Monte Carlo spirit and there's an optional dresscode of 'Monaco / Celebrity' with some awesome prizes up for grabs.

Have a great weekend, enjoy the racing and thanks for reading!

Can Lewis Hamilton turn his first Mercedes pole position into victory, just like team-mate Nico Rosberg did at this very race last year? Join me from 0630 BST on Sunday to find out. Thanks for you company, it's been a blast. Until tomorrow, it's good morning for me. Bye.
0912:
Well that was pretty good, wasn't it? We had to wait a bit for the cars to actually hit the track in Q3, but once they did there was plenty excitement. We've got someone other than Sebastian Vettel on pole for the first time this season, we've got different strategies, drivers out of position and tyres which are falling apart. All the ingredients, then, for a cracking race.ositionDriverTeam

James: "Webber's had a generally horrible weekend all round."
Snowy: "Mark Webber not a happy bunny! I wouldn't be surprised if his time at Red Bull will be up at the end of the season!"
  2. BBC F1 chief analyst Eddie Jordan"The door was so open, Jean-Eric left door open. There is no penalty there. As Mark said himself, this has compounded one of the worst weekends he's ever had."2
  3. BREAKING NEWS
Sauber's Esteban Gutierrez has been given a five-place grid penalty for next weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix after hit the back of Force India's Adrian Sutilwhich put both drivers out of the race.
  4. There's a scrum in the paddock as Kimi Raikkonen gets mobbed by a group of female Chinese fans. His mechanics try to shield him, but the Finn kindly signs a few autographs before heading off into the team's hospitality.
  5. Jacques Villeneuve, the 1997 world champion who isn't afraid to voice his opinion: "I don't like modern Formula 1. There was no action. Lot overtaking but no action. Lot of drivers minding their own pace. All the action happens in three corners and then it's done. You don't have a five-lap fight like we used to. The quickest driver wins, not the best."

Well that puts a bit of a dampener on things...

      Brad Cook says
They aren’t doing it this year! It’s messed up my mini league as we all thought the points would be reset for China.
It seems as if the ‘practise’ rounds weren’t really practise…
Badger replied to one of my tweets saying they had thought about doing an alternate league with reset points but no sign yet…

Nice of them to let us know this beforehand!!!!. I deliberately sabotaged my team and made no predictions in the first two rounds so my Friends League opponents had no idea of my strategy for this year. Now I’m completely stuffed, thanks a lot.

Thanks Adam for the update, that will help us with making it fair for those that played about in the first two races and also one that joined late.

Don't forget your Fantasy GP predictions, grab yourself a ticket for the Monaco GP on a cinema screen and enjoy the Bahrain GP with Badger.

Can we have 4th different winner?
I wouldn't bet against it.
Hi Hard Top

Here we go again folks, the next instalment in the 2013 F1 season takes us to the controversial land of Bahrain. In case you're wondering, we're dead against the race happening at all, but hey ho, Bernie gets what he wants and it's going ahead. Here's our Grand PrixView for Bahrain.

If you're playing Fantasy GP - read the update here, where we mention the lack of a points reset for 2013 and review the Chinese GP from a Fantasy GP point of view.

The 'big' news this week was all about Sir Stirling Moss' comments about female racing drivers and their 'lack of aptitude' for F1 - we had a neuroscientist dispel this.

Elsewhere on Badger GP, you can enjoy our Top 5 from China, as well as the full Hot Rod or Hot Dog driver analysis too.

The Monaco GP isn't on the BBC this year, so if you don't have Sky or fancy enjoying the most glamorous of Grands Prix on a cinema screen with awesome prizes then get yourself a ticket to Badger's Super Monaco GP Bash! Just 22 left!

Have a great weekend, enjoy the racing and thanks for reading!

More from Jenson Button on the incident with McLaren team-mate Sergio Perez. "I was very vocal on the radio, emotions were running high, but I would say exactly the same again," said the 2009 world champion. "The racing was great out there. The only person that wasn't was Checo [Perez].
"He was too aggressive, I would say. At 300 km/h, you don't expect your team-mate to come alongside you and bang wheels with you. It was a bit of a surprise, and I'm probably not the only one that feels like that."

Jenson Button tells Sky Sports his McLaren team-mate Sergio Perez was "too aggressive". He adds: "You don't expect your team-mate to do that at 200mph. I don't think I'm the only one to feel like that."

Here's Sergio Perez's side of the story: "I was as aggressive as he was with me. It was probably, too much. It's something we have to speak about."

Just under three weeks until the Spanish GP.......back out of the sand pit and back in Europe.
Its going to be a long wait for me............:(

Kimi Raikkonen insists he has given no thought to his future beyond the current Formula One season amid renewed speculation that the Finn may replace Mark Webber at Red Bull in 2014.

With his current contract with Lotus due to expire at the end of the campaign, Raikkonen has been heavily linked with a drive at Red Bull next season.

Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz has already put Raikkonen's name forward to replace Webber who looks increasingly likely to leave the Austrian team when his deal expires after his well-documented fall-out with team-mate Sebastian Vettel.

In describing Raikkonen as "cool and fast and always a candidate", Mateschitz stirred up a hornet's nest, but the Finn himself is refusing to be drawn on a possible move despite claims from inside the paddock that he was "flattered" by the interest.
