Hi Tim, I can't see a sticker on my gear box, I have a 2l no slip diff, what oils would you recommend for both diff and boxAlthough it's a manual, it needs an ATF fluid and the best options are the Red Line D4 or Fuchs ATF5005, although the others are fine as cheaper alternatives.

Confusing stuff !!! ATF for a manual box and gear box oil for the diff , how much of each do I need to order.Hi
ATF for your gearbox as well, then you need a 75w-90 GL5 for your diff.

The Fuchs Syn 5, Millers CRX, Red Line 75w-90 GL5, Motul Gear 300 and Gulf Competition are ideal for the diff. The Fuchs Sintopoid, Castrol Syntrax Longlife, Millers TRX, Motul Motylgear, Mobil SHC and Gulf Syngear are also good choices.

I am now a bit puzzled as just about to order both but Tis sheets show for my 2.2Hi @Davyhoogy apologies I forgot I said I would post some info after I had done mine.........i did but on my progress thread "made a start today"..
Gear box oil 2 litres Redline D4 used 1.5 litres approx. Has made gear changes smoother and the box quieter.
Diff oil 2litres Castrol syntrax 2 litres and it took just about all of it.
Got mine from @oilman Opie oils.
Hope this helps.

Sounds interesting, care to share a link to what it is you bought?I also forget to mention, that doing the earls braided clutch hose is the best thing I've done to my Zed , it stops that oem hose expanding every time u push ure clutch in , and also it gets rid off the clutch delay valve, mine was sometimes really really notchy, not no more more, it's like like silk now, iff I had to do it again though , I'd pay a good mechanic to do it, as u need brake flare spannes , pressure bleeders to rebleed the system , and it's a bi*** to bleed tucked up in the gearbox tunnel, ohh I'd love a four poster ramp
Great I'll look into it thanks, but as you say seems like quite a bit of work with bleeding etc. Although the results sound worth it!Here u go, earls performance prouducts,01327 858 221 they'll make u one up specific for ure car , and only £25 ish, and delivered a few days later.
