By the way, I am reliably informed that the interior colour I want is called "biscuit"....not "Tan" and not "Beige"

Who would have known ??

@Sir Percival, does someone make the parts for the shell, grills lights bumpers etc etc
Yep, all parts available from DNA Automotive. Including door cards, seats, carpet, dashboard, shell, bare brightwork (you have to get it chromed yourself) door furniture (internal and external), gauges + senders, grill, wiper mechanism and wipers, spots, headlights, sidelights, rear lights with modified lens's, repeaters, stainless twin exhaust, even the gear stick....in fact everything you see in the photos.

One nice touch is the window winders....which actually operate the windows electrically, Air Con remains functional.

It isn't cheap if you take up all the options, particularly the interior....but however much you spend you should, at the very least, get your money back if you sell it. Two have already been sold for 45K each on fleabay...so anywhere between 35 - 45K is possible for a top job.

We have to remember that there were only 45 original 250's ....and Chris Evans paid 10m Dollars for his.

With a 2.8 Z3 donor the performance is very close to the original 250 Cali with the 3 litre V12 Colombo engine...you may be 6 pots short but at least when you apply the brakes the thing does actually stop!

If I do the full interior I may even badge it....nobody would leave the badges off a 1.24th replica model....so why leave them off a 1:1 model...that just happens to be drivable.

Anyway, it is a replica car, of the replica car, used in the film "Ferris Beulers day off" ....any resemblance to any other car is purely coincidental.

You seriously thinking about this mate?
I am mate, the kit price is pretty reasonable, I wouldn't use my Z so would need a donor car, at that point I have run out of money as I would be £10k in so would need another 5 for the rest of the stuff, at least there would be no labour costs

as a bonus the zed would be more reliable than the original, not to mention cheaper to insure too.

I have bought a full set of 30mm lowering springs, required to make it sit right. Now, apparently, they are recommending 30mm on the front and 40mm on the back.

Does anyone know where I can just buy a rear pair of 40mm lowering springs....or swop for my brand new 30mm rear ones?

I'd talk to Gaz shocks - they have just developed suspension for the Z3 with Gary Freakins racing so should have some idea what you need!

They've made full sets of coilovers but being a U.K. Based company I'd think you could talk to them about what you need.
You may be able to get some adjustables made up.
