Did you read my post about how far my loose wheel went and straight as an arrow before my natural hook took over, but I never lost sight of it and found it easily in the rough. JIM

All this deep fried stuff sounds worth trying, however I've yet to find somewhere that actually sells it. I've heard you can ask for it some may oblige but not many.
I think I saw on the news somewhere in Hamilton were doing deep fried creme eggs this weekend !!
So back to topic. Lowering springs and shock fitted midweek, adjusted the spring to its lowest with the nut still in place. I think it's sitting about right.
So the following pic is with standard suspension and no spacer.
And the next pic is the o/s with lowering kit and 20mm spacer.
I think I could've went for 25mm easily !
Maybe I'll buy another 5mm set and just add them on and bluetac some bolts on.
Of course the o/s will sit better once I do the n/s and then onto the front suspension. I will not be putting spacers on there tho, don't think it needs it.

I was asked while fitting the spacers if I'd take some pics so here you go.
Before:
Sand or wire brush the hub and slot the spacer on. This shouldn't need anymore than placing on. Don't start hitting it. If it doesn't slot on easily it's the wrong fitment:

Really pleased with the results. The wheels are 18"x8.5j with an et of 47 and I've fitted 20mm spacers which has bought the wheels bang in line with the arches.

Thanks Dave. Yours look spot on. I think I should have gone for 25mm ones. Yours seem to sit just that bit more in line with the arch. Mines are just short of it.That looks loads better Lex.
However, I've just fitted the remaing 3 corners of the coil overs and low and behold the front wheels are fouling on the adjuster nuts.
So what I think I might do is get a new pair of 25mm spacers for the back and see if the 20mm ones I just bought will look acceptable on the front. I suspect they may stick out too much and possibly the tyre may fowl on the arch. If that ends up being the case, I will turn them down to 10mm on the lathe.
