And so it begins again

I think a lot of people lost the "connection" with their Zs, of which ever flavour over these last 2 years. Hopefully this year will get things back to the way it should be
Not at all for me, just the opposite in fact. Used the Z3 every day during lockdowns, mostly on clearish roads. Good days in hindsight. :)

Car is back on its wheels and is a dream to drive, just feels bloody amazing, today I went in for a couple of hours and did this, new roof going on, my roof was tired and no head lining, the one going on is pretty mint and a face-lift, I got stuck at this point as I was on my own and couldn't place the new roof, I tried but felt I would damage either the car or myself

Awesome news, you can even see how much higher the back is sitting.

Guys, when I put the exhaust back on I noticed a small crack on the resonator, sure enough it's blowing from there, I could weld it up but think I will put a stainless cat back on, can anyone recommend one, I'd like a bit of a grumble but nothing too loud, thanks

Ant got his done at Doncaster Sean, not sure if it wasn’t at Top Gear but that’s where I’m heading when funds allow. One of the guys on the Yorkshire Z4 group has his done for £330 + the dreaded which I thought was a decent price.

Tony.

It’s a 2 man job to lift the roof on. And worth covering up the rear wings in case.

The way I looked at it mate, was, I got the old one off, just needed to do the reverse but I would have disturbed the sealer

It’s 01302337722 At DN57UT Sean. Top Gear Performance.

Thank pal, I have a local place but I think they are over priced, I got them to quote for a set of quads and they wanted £700

All you’re risking is the cost of a phone call mate. £700 does sound a bit much, but if they don’t do many maybe it still takes them longer?

Supersprint mate, superb 👌

Hi Sean, Ant had his done at Custom Pipes in Doncaster. http://www.custompipes.co.uk/

Powerflow (Mansfield) quoted me £600 o_O for a cat back system last year. Ended up welding the resonator myself!
