And so it begins again

Guys, when I put the exhaust back on I noticed a small crack on the resonator, sure enough it's blowing from there, I could weld it up but think I will put a stainless cat back on, can anyone recommend one, I'd like a bit of a grumble but nothing too loud, thanks
Ive heard good things about Charlie who owns Pro Speed (now in Abercarn, Newport- Moved from Cardiff). Im booked in there for cat back in April (not dual like yours though)

Whilst I had the interior in bits I decided to move the heated seat switches from the stupid place between the seats and refitted in the front, also got a faulty speed sensor so just got ot out

Amazing how much copper wire is in those sensors Sean. I wonder why they put those heated seat switches right back there in the first place. Moved to the front they’re right at your finger tips.

Tony.

Yep, I felt like I was pulling the wire for an age, I've always disliked the seat switch location

One for the electrical gurus, I think these red and brown wires are for the pressure pad on the back of the seat but not sure, they was like this when I bought them so I just left them but might as well sort them while I have the seats out, confirmation would be good, thanks, also what is the box gismo thing,

Airbag control unit…………

OK that explains why there is no connection for it, they are M seats and it's passenger side, my 2.8 doesn't have passenger air bag

That unit is the seat occupancy sensor Sean. So if your car has no N/S airbag it is redundant mate.

Still a special car mate.

Tony.

I spotted a set of split BBS wheels on FB, the guy was selling his 3.0l Z3 and I could see the wheels he had taken off in his garage, I messaged him in June last year to see if they where for sale, I didn't hear anything until November, worth the wait though as I got them for £100 🤣, I have polished the rim and use high adhesion top coat on them, the centres have been done in light shadow chrome, I was never happy with my original set as the shadow chrome is almost black, the guy lived in Telford and mentioned that he had met Niall, @Nodzed, I think his 3.0 was black, I also treat the car to a brand new set of Avon boots
