Why have I never seen this thread before! :D Good work mate. When I decide to do mine at some point in the future I may take the same route as it stops the car from being unusable for too long

Wow, that looks mint. Definitely done a good job on that, just don't get it dirty once you've fitted it...
Yeah its a nice finish, 2 coats of primer and then a zinc coating to stop any further issues before coating it up its a nice fine coat almost looks painted if it wasn't hung up with the alloy wheels and bike parts etc you would think it had!

Not sure why the boot lid carpet wasn't fitted as standard but makes the boot look more finished when fitted.

Hardtop fitted and the zed feels like a different car to drive, loving the look of it fitted.

Was mentioned that a hardtop excentuates the zeds curves, have to agree makes the car feel far more squatted.

Just amassing parts for the rear beam change.
Have gone with Rev speed bushes these will lift the sub frame 12mm and come with 12mm spacers and studs for the diff to keep the alignment.
This will reduce the rear camber quite abit with out changing the ride height. Have brought new wishbone bushes and poly's for the anti roll bars and rear front arm mounts.
Brake pipes to purchase already have new handbrake cables so nearly ready to give it a go.

@Antm72 - if you don't mind me asking - where did you source the boot lid carpet? Your car looks spot on!

Started to get the bushes refreshed on the front end.
Not much left after removing the p bushes
and the anti roll bar bushes where not bad but where curling at the ends.
The difference is night and day very presise on the front and the car feels more planted.
Tracking needs doing now has recentered everything and its out now.

Have ordered new braided brake lines, Rev speed beam bushes with 12mm raise to help with rear camber. 12mm Diff lowering kit spacers and studs to drop the diff back in to alignment.
Rev speed swing arm bushes, hand brake cables and brake shoes.
Nearly all parts for the rear beam change to hand.

Just to order new suspension looking at Bilstein B8's and then it should be pretty much refreshed underneath.

Tony.
Thanks Tony gained a vibration on the front proor to the bushes its only present after 70 , will try getting the wheels rebalanced i hit a pot hole in the week but i can not see and damage to the rims at all but not sure if somethings knocked out of balance.
Its not in the rear or the transmission its not really in the steering its just in the body its described as a shimmy?
I will go for the easy bits but short of the strut which i know is ready for a change nearly all is new under there.

Hope you haven't bent a wheel mate. Bloody pot holes are a menace.:( How is the rear frame shaping?

Im thinking i may have done to be honest was ok untill that point :( But i think it could be striaghtened if it is but as said i can see nothing visable at all to suggest it is and i've had them off and looked inside and out no flat spots etc.
Just finishing off collecting bits so everything is to hand for the beam. The bushes are taking a long time but i have ordered them from the states and Rev speed had a black friday sale and they had a massive uptake that i think they did not expect so there has been a delay.
Covered about every eventuality so all can be replaced new so if its an arse to take apart all bits can be replaced so no real issues.
