You know at the least they are a football team playing with passion, we were just unlucky with the group selection in reality, as I think the top teams are currently sitting in one group from all the matches I have seen, and i think there will be big things from the England team in the future, so let's keep supporting.......

I think they do have a winning attitude, the work rate was immense tonight, they just need a few players that can really finish, the play this tournament in my opinion is a big departure from the team of yesteryear and if they kept Rooney and Gerard off the pitch I reckon they would play even better.

Dutch commentary said after Rooney's goal that he was not a world class striker like Suarez.

Gerard had said the game would be won and lost in defence. How true. School boy defending will always lose you the game. SAD.
