As a Scotland supporter you are going through what we went through 15 years ago. Too many foreign players in the English leagues and no new talent coming through the ranks. Until something changes, neither Scotland or England will win anything.

At least I have still got the Dutch to watch but they looked a bit shaky against Australia IMHO.
I don't agree with that Mark, if you haven't got the talent to pick from, it doesn't matter who the manager is.
Felt a little sorry for the Aussies, they were unlucky not to hang on for a draw which would have been a fair result.

I admit to not knowing much about football, but I did watch last night. To me it seemed that the commentators expected a tubby Wayne Rooney, who's well past his best, win single handedly for England. To be honest Surez seemed to single handedly win for his country. If only the England team had half his passion and dedication to his sport, they might stand a chance. It was like watching a group of kids who randomly got together for a kick around in the park. England players have no passion, except for Gerrard, they all seemed not to give a damn. It has to be said, England is no longer a top International team.
