With my Z3 starting to show signs of corrosion I have toyed with the idea of buying an Audi A4 softtop in October and re building the Z3 over the winter, but that would mean two largish cars in the family and I really dont have time to spend on the Z3, So been casting my eye over the Z4 3.0, I will be honest, I really am not a fan of the Z4but I want a two seater and cant find anything else that I would be happy with, so come October I may get myself a Z4
, but it has to be a 3 litre, and Shiny Black.
Well Z4 owner from today, been for a quick run out with hertotally different beast to the Z3, But I can live with that, just one thing I don't like, and that's the doors sound terrible when you close them
sounds like someone kicking a biscuit tin down an alley.

They do sound bad if they are closed with the same force as the Z3. You need to get used to it that they don't need as much force to close them, and then they sound fine.just one thing I don't like, and that's the doors sound terrible when you close them
Also @TaffZee, don't slam the boot lid too hard, it's a common cause of the third brake light cracking. They do sound bad if they are closed with the same force as the Z3. You need to get used to it that they don't need as much force to close them, and then they sound fine.
