2.8 Z3 or Z4?

Whats the depth

speedo will read 71.58mph instead of the 70mph then

Sorry 68.46 calculated them the wrong way round der

Nice Jim, I don't think you will be disappointed with the car. Certainly you will find it more comfortable. It's a fantastic colour combo too

BTW, the Sport button messes with the throttle response not the ride height. They are fixed springs on the E85/6 Z4, and it's worth checking both the tops and bottoms of them all round. Not sure if you remember my spring going ping at the end of one of your cruises - it's a common fault on the Z4.

Only just gone through a MOT this month, so would have thought they would have picked them up, but it has just had new discs and pads all round cost £800, as you can see from the picture once he had the discs/pads fitted he painted them when he got back home I wonder if the picture was just after he painted them, before it settled after being jacked up? didn't look to high when I seen it, First job is to get the callipers painted red, second job Aero Spoiler.

Does anyone know if the hood can be triggered by the key-fob on this year?
Should do Jim, just hold the unlock button down till the roof is fully down. The Gap-tec module is slightly less messing though, as it's a few clicks and it operates without holding the key.

By the way, the reasons to me buying this car is you lot, the thought of moving on to another non zed car was not an option, I enjoy your company when out on the runs and the banter on this site. I am not a fan of the Z4 even now, but hopefully it will grow on me so my decision was 30% car 70% the Craic, Thanks for all the encouraging comments:thumbsup:

Not all the E85 Z4s can. If taken to an Indie with access to the Bmw software then they will be able to find out. If it can you should be able to get it to both be programmed to open and close. I am trying to find time to get mine to they guy i use to do this

Forgot to try it or ask so will find out next Wednesday.

Just hold the unlock but keep it pressed in if the windows start to move then just keep it pressed. Try both keys as if they are not charged then this will also have an effect on it. We alternate the keys to keep them charged
