Would it be more sensible to buy this kit than just change bushes. Suppose it would because I'm replacing parts that are possibly worn on a higher mileage car?

A hardtop has come up local to me but there is no fitting kit. Looking at the prices on eBay they seem quite extortionate for what they are. Is there nobody making these at a reasonable price that do the job?

I used a Dual action polisher (DAS 6 Pro) They're quite cheap and easy to use and ideal for removing fine scratches & swirls. If you get one I'd recommend a green chemical guys hexlogic pad(s) and scholl concepts s20 black (one step compound & polish) It's pretty much fool proof and you will be...

Not much happening on the mod front atm but was a nice day so decided to go over the car again with the compound & polish. Tried Meguiars M101 Foam cut compound as it's a bit more aggressive than the M105 as I had some scratches to remove. I'm pleased to say I have about 95% correction now :)...
