As Arkwright used to say, "It's been a funny old day" but we got it all done. I got a few pics to add, so here goes.
First job was a gear oil change on Alex's E89 Z4 20i over the pit. We hadn't quite done that when Dave arrived in his lovely red Z3.
When Roo got here we had his white E89 Z4 23i on the lift for a service. See Alex's pics. We had finished on the lift with the E89 when Dave arrived in his Z3 with a noise from the belts pulleys area so we swapped the cars over.
After getting the gear oil filled and Alex's car off the pit, Paul pulled over the pit to attempt a coolant change on his E85 Z4 2.5.

Out on the yard I was changing the cabin filter on Roo's E89. Why do they put these things in such places? Answers on a post card. This was after Dave and Dave left for Lincoln to fetch an aux. belt tensioner for Dave's 2.2 from ECP, in the red Z3. Got the usual shower of dried leaves when I pulled the old filter out into the footwell. Another job for my Ryobi vacuum cleaner (it does earn it's keep!).
We had a fair selection of cars here today, including a 4 series oil burner. Same Orange as one of the Zeds.
A little later we had Terry (and Kate) AKA
@notsoeasyaspie arrive in his 2.0 Z3. Terry had fitted new brakes all round but came to a stop at the O/S/R when he encountered a rounded caliper carrier bolt. Anyway we soon managed to overcome that problem, had to de adjust the H/B shoes and repair one shoe hold down pin/spring.

) been friends along time because of this forum as with the other guys too. As I said to Terry, Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet.
Meanwhile next to the Shed Paul was busy helping Dave and Roo to Hard wire Dave's Dash Cam in his Z3.
Of course there was the usual amount of Mickey taking going on. Just wouldn't be a Shed Day without.
Any road up I thoroughly enjoyed myself (and my Butty, Cheers Dave/Roo). Always good to meet with old friends and to meet new ones too. Hope to see you all, and others soon.
